Our Story
Achen Henderson was formed in 2013, when partners Clayton Achen and George Henderson stepped off the hamster wheel that is the traditional accounting firm. In 2015, Carol Sadler joined as partner, bringing her U.S. cross-border and Canadian tax knowledge to our firm.We are different because we measure our success based on the success of our clients, and not on how many hours per month we log and who drives the fanciest car. We’ve always embraced technology, but the technology hadn’t caught up to our dreams. Until now…
We know that data drives the best decisions made in business, and we recognized that most of our customer’s bookkeeping data was flawed, disorganized, behind, and of of little importance to the entrepreneur because they didn’t realize the power of their data, and thus they didn’t know how to use it.
In 2018, we underwent a firm-wide redevelopment of our strategy, our processes, and systems, our why, and our cultural alignment. We decided to focus our entire existence on our customer’s success, and we realized that the only way to truly accomplish this was to empower entrepreneurs and business leaders to focus on creating value in their companies.
